We run a backlink-data API for builders whose blogs publish through scripts, schedulers and CI. This page says what we run, what we skip and how to reach us.

Who we write for
Builders, mostly.
Our readers wire WordPress, Ghost, Hugo or a headless CMS to a scheduler, then worry what the machine publishes at night. The guides on this site come from that worry: a gate before the post, an audit after it, and honest prices in between.
Our own habit is to write the boring parts down. When we describe a backlink checker api, we list its caps, its price per call and the refresh rhythm in the same breath, because a scheduled job needs those three facts before it needs anything else.
What stands behind the data
Four facts about the data and the billing. They are the same ones we repeat on every guide.
01
Our own crawler
The link graph is built from our own crawler and our own index: 181,132,097 domains and 2,774,625,913 domain-to-domain links.
02
Roughly monthly
The index refreshes about once a month, so new links take time to appear. We say it everywhere because pipelines depend on it.
03
A rating of our own
DR here is round(100 x log(ref_domains+1) / log(2x10^7)). It resembles other tools in spirit and matches none of them.
04
Prepaid, per call
One credit costs $0.0001. New accounts get $100 of free credit, no card, and top-ups are in USDT (TRC-20).
What we skip
We are not a keyword suite
We do not do keyword research, rank tracking or daily crawling. Ahrefs and Semrush do those better, and the comparison page says where each belongs.
Editorial voice: the SEOBlogBot research team.
No named customers or testimonials appear on this site because we have none to publish.
Guides with invented numbers say so at the top.
Reaching us
Use the account page.
Sign in with Google and open the account page; support requests, billing questions and data-correction requests start there, and we reply inside the same place so nothing gets lost in a mailbox. If you only want to try the service, the home page has a free domain checker.
If you build something unusual on top of the API, such as a Hugo plugin or a WordPress cron, tell us on the account page. We read those messages and some become the next guide.
What is dated and real in our world
Google core update
A broad core update, finished in April 2024, changed how many publishers think about thin automated posts. It is the reason a pre-publish check matters to us.
This site
SEOBlogBot publishes its guides in 2026 on top of our own link index, which holds 798.5 billion backlinks.
How we write guides
Each guide starts from a situation.
A draft with sixty references, a monthly job that quietly fails, an archive of two hundred posts nobody has read in years. Where a number is made up, the page says so in a box at the top, and where we do not know a figure, such as a request-per-second ceiling, we write that we do not publish one.
Where the money comes from
From calls, not seats.
We earn from prepaid credit that people spend on paid actions. Free actions stay free so a developer can test a parser, a gate or a dashboard widget without opening a wallet, and that choice shapes the whole site: we would rather you try the thing than read a sales page about it.
